Cookie Law

Online Store > Themes > Customize Theme > General Settings tab > Cookie Law.

Under EU privacy regulations, websites must make it clear to visitors what information about them is being stored. This specifically includes cookies. Turn on this option and user will see info box that your web-site is using cookies on first time visit. If click on "Accept", it will show again after 60 days.

Color Swatches

It shows the color variants in product settings.

(Read here to see how to set product variants)

NOTE: Gemini shows colors taken from this list: colors.commutercreative.com/grid/
If a color is not in the list, it will show as grey.

If you want to replace default color by an image color, you need to upload an image with relevant color name into Theme's assets.

  • Open Online store > Themes > Actions > Edit code

  • Find folder Assets > Add a new asset > Upload your image (eg. "black.png", "blue.jpg"...)

There are some rules to name the image color:
  • The color name only recognizes lowercase. So for example if your product color is "gold" then the image's name must be written as "gold.png", not "Gold.png".
  • The color swatches identify spacing between words by hyphens, so if you want to replace a color named "black and gold", then the uploaded image should be named "black-and-gold.png".
  • And remember the option of image type in Swatches settings. If you uploaded a png image, then this option must set in PNG, not JPEG.

Checkout

Online Store > Themes > Customize Theme > General Settings tab > Checkout.

To customize more checkout settings, visit your Shopify admin > Settings > Checkout.

Product Badges

Here is the list of supported badges:
  • Sold out: auto appear on a sold-out product (product inventory = 0)
  • Sale percentage (auto calculated %): appear on a product having compared price
  • Sale: appear on a product having "Sale" tag
  • Hot: appear on a product having "Hot" tag
  • New: appear on a product having "New" tag
You can set color for each badge in Customize theme > General settings tab > Colors > Product Badges Color

Note: Each product can show only 1 badge. So we set the priority of badges like this: sold out > % > sale > hot > new
